Terminal is an interactive audio installation created by interactive artist Marcus Woxneryd and Harry Neve. Terminal was installed in The Great Eastern Hotel, Liverpool Street, London as part of the Suite Exhibiton from 25th February until 18th March 2005. Harry’s role in the creation of Terminal was to record and edit interesting sounds from Liverpool Street train station. The sounds were edited focusing in on the rhythmic and melodic qualities already present in the recordings and then these fragments combined to create several longer loops to be triggered by the audience in the installation space. The interactive element, created by Marcus consists of a Laptop running a MaxMsp/Jitter patch connected to a projector and a camera to pick up peoples movements in the installation space.
